Namaste, Reader.
After all the movement, we rest. Not because we’re lazy—but because rest is where the practice lands.
Savasana, the final resting pose, gives your body time to absorb everything that just happened. Your nervous system shifts into a state of repair. Your mind gets a moment to quiet down.
Stillness might feel strange at first. But in that stillness, you start to meet yourself—without distraction, without striving.
Meditation deepens that connection. Whether you’re focusing on your breath, a mantra, or simply noticing your thoughts, meditation helps us observe rather than react. Over time, it builds emotional clarity, focus, and compassion.
🧘♀️ Try this:
Lie down or sit comfortably. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Do nothing but notice your breath. If the mind wanders, gently return to the breath. That’s it. That’s practice.
You deserve this time to be.
Hit reply and let me know—what does rest feel like in your body today?
