Mindful Journeys Together

Namaste, Reader!

A warm welcome to all of our new subscribers—especially those joining us from the MPNL Umbrella! I’m so glad you’re here.

As we gear up for our upcoming Family Flow: Yoga for Kids and Caregivers event, I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about why this work is so close to my heart.

I started practicing yoga when I was pregnant with my daughter, Lucy. Like many new parents, I was searching for something to help me feel grounded and supported—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Yoga became that support system for me. It offered me a space to breathe, reflect, and begin healing from within.

Over the years, my yoga journey has evolved into something even more meaningful: a way to nurture Lucy’s development and model emotional maturity for her. Mindfulness and the teachings of yoga have helped me grow into the kind of person—and parent—I hope she feels safe with. And in return, she’s grown up knowing that our home is a space where her feelings are honored, her body is respected, and movement is a way of expressing joy.

Yoga has been such a blessing in our family’s life. It’s helped us stay bonded in deep, intentional ways—through breath, laughter, quiet moments, and even wobbly tree poses in the living room.

If you’re new here, I hope this space gives you and your little ones a sense of belonging and inspiration. Whether you're seeking connection, calm, or just a way to move together—you’re in the right place.
